Access Trimet.org in new languages

TriMet made a major improvement to trimet.org. Now people whose first language is Spanish, Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese, Russian or Korean can view the homepage and rider information in their native language. These are the most commonly spoken languages in our community. More languages may be added in the future.

How to access the new language selector feature
Using our website with the new translated language function is easy. Visit trimet.org to see a fully updated navigation menu, with prominent placement of a “Language” button in the top right of the navigation bar:

…and in Spanish.

Just click on the “Language” button for a list of the languages available. Then, select your preferred language. All content will switch to your preferred language, making it easier to plan a trip, check out routes and track your ride. You’ll also find other information to help you get moving:

Improvements for accessibility
The updated trimet.org also makes it easier for people using screen readers, voice control and keyboard navigation. We also placed the “Security” and “Alerts” buttons in a more prominent spot–next to the “Language” button on the top-right side of the homepage. We plan to add more features in the future to accommodate our riders’ needs.

Ready to try it out? Visit trimet.org to plan your next trip, check schedules and more.
