2026 Bike Month Challenge

May is National Bike Month and Get There partners in the Portland region are excited to announce the 2026 Bike Month Challenge.

The month-long challenge is open to anyone living or working in the Metro region, and participants can win prizes by logging any bike trip (manual or e-bike) on the Get There Oregon website- whether for commuting or just getting around.

Starting May 1, Get There users who log more than two bike trips (that's one round-trip) to qualify for random weekly prize drawings, and a monthly grand prize drawing, or to hold the title of area Team Bike Month Champions. This year, we will give top trip logging awards to winners in four parts of the Metro region; Portland, Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington Counties. Join your work team or form your own team to compete, have fun, and win prizes.

How to participate

(1) log into your Get There account
(2) Click the Challenges button on your home page
(3) To create a team, click the Create a Team button, and you can find your unique link to invite others to your team on your team leaderboard tab.
(4) to join a team use the link provided to you by the team captain.
